The President of the Lebanese Developers, Dr. Roy ABIJAOUDE, participated in the third “Beyond Plastic Med” initiative (BeMed) meeting in Monaco. With more than 3000 billion of microplastic particles, the Mediterranean Sea is the most polluted sea in the world. With this conclusion, the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, the Tara Expeditions Foundation, Surfrider Foundation Europe and the Mava Foundation joined forces to give life to the BeMed initiative. The Lebanese Developers NGO is contributing to this initiative through its project Relieving the Northern Lebanese Mediterranean Sea coast from abandoned nylon fishnets. The President met with H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco and informed him about the project and gave the Prince a souvenir from the organization.
